On 12 April 2026, the appointment with Bicinrosa – the amateur sporting event organised by the Breast Unit of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation – returns.

“Nobody loses. Everyone wins!” is the initiative’s motto: a positive message aimed at raising awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention through sport, a healthy diet, a correct lifestyle and daily attention to one’s well-being.

The solidarity bike ride starts at 9.00 am at the Nando Martellini Stadium. The route winds through the historic heart of Rome, passing several landmarks: Via Antonina, Viale delle Terme di Caracalla, Piazza del Colosseo, and the Trajan's Forum. The finish line is back at Via Antonina at 12.00 pm. 

Bicinrosa was conceived with clear and concrete goals: as well as raising awareness among an ever-growing number of people about the importance of prevention and highlighting the role of sport and a healthy diet, it also aims to give a voice to women who have faced the disease, sharing their stories of strength, courage and hope. At the same time, the initiative aims to provide insight into the work of Breast Units or multidisciplinary breast centres, where dedicated teams support patients at every stage of their treatment journey, ensuring high standards and comprehensive support.

The event also provides an important opportunity to draw the attention of media and institutions to the fundamental topic of breast cancer prevention and treatment, to highlight the European Union’s policies on breast cancer, and, through participation, to provide tangible support for research and training in this field.
