Anticipation is growing for Gianluca Grignani’s return to the live stage with “Verde Smeraldo – Residui di Rock’n’Roll”, the unmissable concert scheduled for 27 May at the Atlantico.
With his trademark energy and the grit that has always defined him, the Milanese singer-songwriter will perform the songs that have marked his thirty-year career and the history of Italian music – from La mia storia tra le dita to Destinazione Paradiso, from La fabbrica di plastica to Quando ti manca il fiato. He will also perform for the first time live the tracks that will be included in his forthcoming album of previously unreleased songs.
Born in Milan on 7 April 1972, Gianluca Grignani is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer.
Over 30 years of career, he has sold 5 million records, certified by FIMI.
His discography includes 10 studio albums, 3 compilation albums and 3 reissues. He has also written two autobiographical books: La mia storia tra le dita and Residui di Rock’n’roll – Diario sincero di un artista.
He has taken part in the Sanremo Music Festival seven times as a competing artist and twice as a guest performer.
Among the many awards and recognitions he has received are the Grolla d’Oro, the Lunezia Prize, and the Mia Martini Award.
