The Municipality of Rome is offering tourism operators specialized in incoming activities and the international promotion of the city the opportunity to participate as co-exhibitors of Roma Capitale during the trade fairs scheduled in 2026. The aim is to support local tourism enterprises and strengthen the competitiveness of the territory.
Tourism operators must be based in Rome and must submit their expression of interest from 19 January to 7 February to the PEC address protocollo.grandieventisportturismoemoda@pec.comune.roma.it. On the basis of the expressions of interest received, a list of suitable tour operators will be drawn up and approved. Co-exhibitors will be selected within the limits of the places available and in relation to the size of the space (physical or digital) purchased by the Municipality of Rome.
The choice will be made on the basis of the description of the activities carried out by the applicants. The priority criteria are as follows: coherence between the operator’s core business and the tourism product featured in the event; possible coverage of additional segments of the tourism offer; proposal of environmentally sustainable services or products, enhancing local cultures and traditions and reducing the ecological impact. Where requirements are equal, applications will be considered according to the chronological order of receipt.
Free participation as a co-exhibitor of Roma Capitale constitutes an economic benefit granted under the ‘de minimis’ regime (EU Regulation No. 2831/2023 of 13 December 2023) and includes the allocation of an area within the fair for B2B meetings with buyers, inclusion in exhibitor catalogues, and the opportunity to distribute promotional material.
