On 23 April, the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone is hosting the famous British soul-jazz singer, who returns to Rome for an unmissable concert as part of her 2026 tour.
The iconic artist, whose eclectic style spans blues, rock, jazz and soul, has a deep, velvet voice with an extraordinary four-octave range, evoking the nuances of the legendary Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday.
On stage, Sarah Jane Morris presents the songs from The Sisterhood vol. 2, her latest album and the second chapter of a project celebrating some of music’s greatest female artists – Etta James, Big Mama Thornton, Bonnie Raitt, Janis Ian, Peggy Seeger, Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, Sinéad O’Connor, Joan Armatrading, Tracy Chapman and Amy Winehouse: eleven singers who, united by a common thread of courageous choices and personal struggles, represent the British singer’s personal ‘sisterhood’ and have profoundly inspired her artistic career.
The Sisterhood vol. 2 is a truly moving musical journey through which the leading figure on the international soul-jazz scene declares her love for music and for the women who, with their unique and unconventional artistic vision, have revolutionised contemporary music.
