E penso a te. Centoventicinque anni di Lazio

The Sala della Protomoteca hosts the Lazio, returning to the Capitol for E penso a te, the exciting travelling event with free admission that celebrates the 125th anniversary of the sports club.

An extraordinary occasion with which, for the first time, the Campidoglio hosts an event of the team ‘biancoceleste’ for two days: fans, Romans and tourists can experience the history of the club, admiring in the background some of the city's symbolic places, such as the Roman Forum and the magnificent square designed by Michelangelo.

On display are authentic memorabilia and unpublished photos - such as Piola's 1935 shirt and ball, Fausto Coppi's bicycle, Olympic water polo Ghira's swimsuit, the jersey of the great baseball player Glorioso, and many other Olympic, World, European and Italian champions - that tell the story of Europe's largest multi-sport club (it currently has over 80 sections dedicated to teaching sports disciplines) and create a true museum for all sports enthusiasts. On the occasion of the recent 25th anniversary of the Scudetto of May 2000, memorabilia dating back to the Cragnotti period, the unforgettable times from the '98 Coppa Italia to the 2000 Super Cup, years in which Lazio dominated European football, are also on display.

The unmissable event, featuring Lazio's symbolic eagle, opens on Saturday, 17 May (10 a.m.) with the historical radio commentator Riccardo Cucchi. Following, At 4.30 p.m., is the conference Lazio Ente Morale - I giorni della Rondinella to retrace the origins of the team together with Luca Aleandri, Antonio Buccioni, Alessandro Cochi and Pasquale Trane. On Sunday 18, besides the opening of the exhibition at 10.00 a.m., you can relive the 2000 Scudetto with LAZIO DAY, the book of Lazialità by Guido De Angelis and Agostino Lattuille.

The exhibition, which was presented at the Municipality of Rome on 9 January, the date of the sports club's foundation, and in the Lazio region on 17 March, will later be hosted in Tivoli and Vico nel Lazio and curated by Lazio with the supporters and local associations, with the www.maglielazio.it museum, and the Centro Studi Nove Gennaio Millenovecento, presenting the exploits of the 'biancocelesti' champions in an original way.
