The complex, designed by architect Roberto Panella and built between 2002 and 2003, rises in place of two small temporary buildings - one used as a church, the other as a sacristy and parish offices - originally built on the same plot and sized according to the number of inhabitants living in the parish area at the time. The new complex therefore occupies the same L-shaped area of about 8000 square metres, which is gently sloping down. With regard to the urban and morphological aspect, the new parish was intended both as a symbolic reference for the surrounding urban fabric, and as a functional structure, without, however, looming over the adjacent built-up area as an exceptional element. The project consists of two distinct and parallel buildings: one used as premises for pastoral and canonical activities; the other as a church, weekday chapel and sacristy. They are separated by a path that planimetrically unites them into a single architectural organism. The church is entered through a pronaos preceded by a large churchyard. The assembly hall, with a central plan, is based on the shape of a square, with the assembly arranged in circular sectors, gathered around the presbytery - raised above the church level - on which the ambo, the altar and the seat are positioned. The baptismal font is to the right of the presbytery, correctly placed at a lower level. Under the bell tower, which is empty inside the church, is the tabernacle, which can also be used from the weekday chapel. The rectory and the pastoral ministry premises are housed in a single trapezoid-shaped building, which on the ground floor houses the pastoral activity functions (four catechism classrooms, a large room for collective meetings, as well as toilets) and the parish offices; on the basement floor are the garage, six catechism classrooms, the senior citizens' room, scouting rooms and two sets of changing rooms. The first floor is entirely given over to the religious residence.
