MY VIEW - Fashion Show

A project that gives voice to the creative freedom of the new generation of fashion designers. Realized for the third time in collaboration with the Department for Fashion, Sport, Tourism and Major Events of Roma Capitale and the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma (ABA Roma), MY VIEW presents the point of view of the students of some secondary schools and of the new talents who are being trained in fashion design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, one of the oldest academies in Italy.

This year, together with the students of ABA Roma, the most talented student-designers from the Enzo Rossi art school, the IISS Leon Battista Alberti and the ISS Pertini Falcone will each have the opportunity to present one of their creations or a capsule collection during the three scheduled events in symbolic places of the Capitoline culture and the Lazio region.

The event begins on Saturday 5 October, in Ostia, with the creations of the students from the Liceo artistico Enzo Rossi and the IISS Leon Battista Alberti, each with an outfit freely inspired by their own vision, together with a selection of 21 outfits by the Fashion Design students of ABA Roma. The second fashion show will take place on Saturday 12 October, in the majestic Lunghezza Castle, with the creations of the students of ISS Pertini Falcone, together again with 21 outfits by the young designers of the Accademia.

The initiative closes on Monday 21 October with a fashion show at the Centrale Montemartini museum. In the grandiose spaces of the old electric plant, amidst turbines, engines, machines that act as a backdrop to classical sculptures and archaeological finds, the capsule collections created by 14 fashion designers from ABA Roma will take to the catwalk, telling of their personal aesthetic vision and the techniques acquired as part of their artistic training.
