Yo-UMANA: Discover Art Beyond Sight - immersive experience between Creativity, Meditation and Multisensory Interaction

Experience art in a completely new way with Yo-UMANA, a multisensory exhibition that challenges conventions and invites participants to explore their deepest perceptions, without knowing who the artist is or seeing the works on display. It is held in Rome, at the Wire Coworking, a space accessible by transport and a few steps from the Gazometro and Trastevere Station. It is an experiential event that transforms the visit to the art gallery into a meditative and collective process, making each participant not just an observer, but an active part of the work itself. Starting from introspective dynamics and arriving at the construction of a horizontal sharing space, all participants - artists, curators and visitors - interact in an authentic, horizontal and unconventional way. This experiential activity, organised by TuSai in collaboration with ReStyled by G. and the support of FRAM!Lab, offers an artistic journey that involves all the senses and makes sight literally the last of the protagonists to enter the scene.

The Concept of Yo-UMANA: What would it be like to attend an art exhibition with your eyes closed and without knowing the artist?

In Yo-UMANA, art is experienced with all the senses, leaving sight to come only at the end, as the culmination of an intimate, multi-sensory experience. Guided by the TuSai team, participants are immersed in a journey of sensory discovery that involves the visual revelation of the works only at the end of the event. Through specifically designed dynamics typical of the TuSai Roadmap methodology, everyone is an active part of the creative process, developing new skills and connections with themselves and others.

An unusual event, created thanks to everyone's participation

TuSai, an organisation pioneering creative problem solving and mindfulness processes, is the beating heart behind Yo-UMANA. Its objective is evident in the company's name and the format's theme, which promotes humanity in a horizontal manner, in an interlingual pun between Spanish yo, English you and Italian umana. An aspect, this, that reflects the international and interlinguistic training of the TuSai team, and in particular of the founder Francesca Paradiso Casale, creator of the format, holistic systemic therapist and teacher of soft and hard corporate skills. Supporting TuSai was the Roman association Fram!Lab, born from an idea of Simona Micheli with the aim of raising awareness of current issues through Art, and Gaia Schiavetti, stylist and founder of Restyled by G. www.restyled.it, an Italian brand known for its commitment to upcycling and circular fashion. ReStyled by G. created the textile elements that enrich the sensory journey from second-hand fabrics collected by donation.

A sustainable and participative Event, where the protagonist is YOu:

All ReStyled by G's proposals are made by independent seamstresses in the Lazio region. Its Re-Giving project allows the brand to collect donations of second-hand clothes or materials, making people who donate their used clothes participate in the transformation process and the final result. Those who have donated a garment have the opportunity to follow its journey to become a new creation, giving life to fashion that is not only sustainable, but also participatory connected to the stories of those who have been part of it, in a profoundly Yo-Human experience.
