Bernadette de Lourdes - Il Musical

On the stage of the Auditorium Conciliazione is Bernadette De Lourdes, the musical show, a great success in France with over 400,000 spectators, which tells the incredible story of Bernadette Soubirous, a 14-year-old girl, discreet, frail, illiterate, but not afraid to challenge the world to assert her ideas.

The play was written along the lines of the official minutes drawn up during the harsh interrogations of the young Bernadette concerning her Marian apparitions.

The spectator is projected into a nineteenth-century Lourdes, reconstructed in a historically verisimilar manner in terms of both set design and costumes.

Bernadette De Lourdes is the story of the young visionary's struggle and her defence of the truth from sceptical adults and her tormented family.

The show is directed by Serge Denoncourt, the sets are by Stéphane Roy.
