Winners of a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance and on the strength of over 46 million albums sold for four Platinum records, over 30 Platinum records for singles, 74 billion streams, Imagine Dragons arrive at Circus Maximus.
In the wake of the success of their previous Platinum-certified singles Bones and Sharks, the band is currently on the radio with the new single Symphony, taken from the double album Mercury Acts 1 & 2, an album that contains 32 tracks.
The American band, made up of Dan Reynolds (vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboard, percussion), Wayne Sermon (electric and acoustic guitar, electric mandolin, percussion, backing vocals), Ben McKee (bass, keyboard, synthesiser, percussion, backing vocals) and Daniel Platzman (drums, percussion, viola, backing vocals), took their first steps in 2008, when they released their first EP Speak to Me, followed by It's Time in 2010 and the signing of a record deal with Interscope Records in 2011.
Evolve, from 2017, contains three hits such as Believer, Thunder and Whatever it Takes, all of which reached number one on the radio charts.
The band's fourth album, Origins, went to #1 on the official Alternative and Rock album charts on Billboard, while the single Natural was the most played track on the Alternative Radio chart for nine consecutive weeks and still holds the record for the most weekly airplay of all time.
The band's highly anticipated fifth studio album, Mercury - Act 1, released on 3 September 2021 by Virgin Records, is a straightforward and spontaneous album that moves away from the metaphor-overloaded lyrics of the past, focusing on lyrics that want to embrace emotional extremes without any qualms.
