The itinerary through the Imperial Forums, following the footbridge through the site, is without any architectural restrictions. It crosses part of the Foro di Traiano, then passes under Via dei Fori Imperiali through the ancient cells of the ancient residences of the Quartiere Alessandrino and, after crossing the whole extension of the Foro di Cesare, near the Foro di Nerva it reaches the Curia, entering into the Foro Romano.
The access to the area is also allowed from the Roman Forum: in this case the route ends at the ticket counter of the Colonna Traiana in Piazza della Madonna di Loreto.
The ticket also covers a visit in the SUPER sites, whose special visit gives the possibility to discover Roman art and civilisation through immersive technologies and virtual narrations.
Visitors are guided through the discovery and appreciation of ancient painting from the age of Augustus, with the Casa di Augusto ( from Tuesday to Sunday), to the late ancient and early medieval age with the Temple of Romulus, Santa Maria Antiqua and the Oratorio dei Quaranta Martiri.
On Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays it is also possible the access to the Curia Iulia, the ancient seat of the Roman Senate.
Access at the SUPER sites is limited, as they hold precious paintings that could suffer from excessive crowding.
Intruduced in 2019 from the partnership between the Ministero della Cultura and Roma Capitale, through an important memorandum of agreement signed between the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali and the Parco Archeologico del Colosseo, the Forum Pass Super has been suspended later because with the health emergency.
