Established in 1881 is managed by the Cultural office of the Austrian Embassy. It promotes activities for the study of Austrian culture and it supports the research of Austrian researchers in the fields of archaeology, history and art history. It hosts scholars and students with a scholarship. The same builiding houses the Austrian Historical Institute.
