Ferraro SMI Roma Volley is the name adopted by the Roma Volley Club team from May 2026, following a co-main sponsorship agreement with the Ferraro Group and SMI Group. The club represents the evolution of the Roma Volley Club, Rome’s leading women’s volleyball organisation, which over the years has distinguished itself at both national and international level, winning the WEVZA Cup and the CEV Challenge Cup.
In the 2026-2027 season, the team is competing in Serie A2 (LVF A2 Fineco), the second tier of the Italian women’s volleyball league, a single-round-robin tournament comprising 17 teams. At the end of the regular season, the team finishing in first place will be promoted to Serie A1. The teams finishing in second to ninth place, meanwhile, will compete in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and play-off finals to determine the second promotion spot.
The Palazzetto dello Sport - PalaTiziano in the Flaminio district hosts the club’s home matches. Here, on 18 November, the Wolves will face Clai Imola Volley in their match for the ninth round of the first half of the LVF A2 Fineco season.
