
On 10 December, the splendid historical The St. Regis Rome hosted the Italian Tourism Awards ceremony, the prestigious accolade conceived by Deborah Garlando, CEO of MHR – Media Hotel Radio.
This unique event aims to promote all areas of excellence that contribute to making Italian tourism an international benchmark, including sustainability and innovation, while recognizing the professionalism and skills of those working in hospitality and travel.
During the final evening, presented by Gabriella Carlucci, a jury composed of industry experts and chaired by Palmiro Noschese (Strategy Advisor for the luxury hotel industry) selected three nominees for each of the 15 categories from over 300 candidates, announcing, among the 45 finalists, the protagonists who have left a decisive mark on the Italian tourism industry.
The winners of the sixth edition, awarded with the iconic Microfono d'Oro (Golden Microphone), symbol of MHR, are: Cinque Terre (Italian Destinations), Forte Village (Hotel), Glamping & Spa Terme dei Vulci (New Hospitality), Twiga (Restaurant & Food), Health Clinic Longlife Formula (Spa & Wellness), Futura Vacanze (Travel Italy), On Location (International), Frecciarossa (Transport & Mobility), Piazza di Siena - CSIO di Roma Master d'Inzeo (Major Events), Blastness (Innovation), Zacchera Hotels (Sustainable Tourism), Tasting Opera (Start-Up), Dante per i Borghi (Media & Travel Stories), Tommaso Tanzilli (Manager of the Year), Carmela Colaiacovo (Woman in Tourism - in memory of Elena David).
