From 21 January 2026, in Rome, the Enjoy car-sharing service will switch from the “Free Floating” model to the “Enjoy Point” model. It will no longer be possible to start and end a rental anywhere within the coverage area; instead, rentals may only begin and end at specific Enjoy Points indicated in the app.
Enjoy Points are designated parking areas where you can find the iconic red vehicles and where you can start and end your rental. These include Enilive Stations, Eni Parking facilities, Enjoy Parking areas, airport and railway station car parks, as well as parking bays and spaces on public and private land.
In addition to changes to how vehicles are rented, payment methods will also change.
From 14 December 2025 for customers registering for the service from that date, and from 21 January 2026 for existing customers, only credit cards, debit cards and PayPal will be accepted to rent a vehicle; prepaid cards will no longer be accepted. Vouchers may be used only if another valid payment method – such as a credit card, debit card or PayPal – has been added in the app.
