S.T.E.M. in un SECONDO 3.0

Municipio Roma II invites girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 14, residents or attending local schools, to enjoy a free and shared experience of knowledge, play, and adventure with a scientific theme.

Now in its third edition, the event features a rich calendar of initiatives designed specifically for young people of the Municipality, hosted at the Civic Museum of Zoology, Technotown-hub della scienza creativa in Villa Torlonia and the Casina di Raffaello in Villa Borghese.

On the schedule are many activities, such as games, group challenges, treasure hunts, creative workshops on AI, light shows, and workshops dedicated to art, ecology, and botany, for an unmissable initiative that invites reflection and draws attention to the gender gap themes in STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

S.T.E.M. in un secondo 3.0 aims to foster an inclusive environment among young people, breaking down social and cultural barriers, overcoming gender stereotypes, and encouraging equal opportunities, spreading a new way of experiencing and using technology in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, and, at the same time, encouraging collaboration and social and cultural exchange among young people.

All educational activities can also be carried out by young people with disabilities who will be supervised by appropriate personnel. Participants with special needs will be allowed to enter with their own personal accompanying person (family member or indicated at the time of booking) to facilitate their participation.

To participate in the various activities scheduled, upon completion of the self-certification form attesting to residence and/or attendance at school in Municipio II, it is mandatory to make a reservation by phone at the contact centre 060608 (for Casina di Raffaello and Technotown) and at the contact centre 069784700 – 3756114024 of Myosotis (for the Civic Museum of Zoology).
