On 14 February, the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone hosts the iconic American band, performing in Rome for an unmissable concert as part of their international tour.
On stage, the band - Louie Perez, David Hidalgo, Cesar Rosas, Conrad Lozano, and Steve Berlin - takes the audience on a journey into great music with their unique and engaging sound, which blends blues, folk, zydeco, Tex-Mex, and rock 'n' roll in an extraordinary way.
Founded in the early 1970s in East Los Angeles, Los Lobos have been a reference point for traditional Latin American music for over fifty years. After ...And a Time to Dance, their third album, and How Will the Wolf Survive?, they achieved worldwide fame with La Bamba, a song included in their soundtrack for the film of the same name dedicated to the life of singer-songwriter Ritchie Valens, released in the same year as By the Light of the Moon, followed by numerous other albums, including the masterpiece Kiko.
With a long and extraordinary career, marked by four Grammys out of twelve nominations and millions of records sold, Los Lobos have left an indelible mark on the international music scene with their distinctive style, which combines tradition and modernity, transcending genres and labels.
