Chiesa di Sant'Alberto Magno

The parish of St. Albert the Great was erected on 1 September 1983, anticipating the construction of the building and responding to the growing spiritual need of the rapidly expanding local community. The present church, designed by architect Sandro Benedetti, was built between 1989 and 1991, quickly becoming a landmark for the neighbourhood.
Since its foundation, the parish has assumed a central role in community life, offering not only religious services but also social and cultural support. In 2016, its significance was further recognised when Pope Francis elevated it to cardinal status, underlining its growing importance in the ecclesial life of Rome.
