The parish of Our Lady of Fatima is located in Via del Fontanile Nuovo no. 88 and is part of the XXXVI Prefecture, West Sector, Tomba di Nerone Area, 19th City Hall. The parish currently has about 4300 inhabitants.The parish of Our Lady of Fatima was erected on 8 July 1975, by decree of Cardinal Vicar Ugo Poletti ‘Omnium ecclesiarum’ and entrusted to the congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, later transferred to the diocesan clergy of Rome. The parish church was dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima in 1982 and consecrated on 9 April 1983. Its subsidiary place of worship is the Chapel of Santa Maria Bambina, in Via del Fontanile Nuovo no. 104, at the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi.Recognition for civil effects was decreed on 28 February 1978. The real estate is owned by the Vicariate of Rome. The project is by architect Aldo Aloysi.The territory, derived from that of the parish of St Bartholomew the Apostle, was determined within the following boundaries:Fosso dell'Acqua Traversa, starting from the intersection with the Fosso di Monte Arsiccio, up to the meeting with Via dell'Insugherata - from here ideal line to the west, in the direction of the Fait industry (which remains in the parish of S. Bartolomeo), up to Via Trionfale - said Via up to and including house number 12024 - ideal line to the northwest up to the intersection of the Fosso di Monte Arsiccio with the Fosso dell'Acqua Traversa mentioned above.The territory of the parish of Our Lady of Fatima is divided into four districts (Fontana, Castello, Mare and Botte), each of which is assigned a distinctive colour, inspired by the blue-white of Our Lady, the Italian tricolour and the yellow-white of the Holy See.In the parish of Our Lady of Fatima, although small, several groups and movements operate, including the Cursillo of Christianity, the Liturgical Group, the Youth Group and the parish Caritas.
