Live music is the undisputed protagonist of the Roman summer with Rock in Roma 2024, the eagerly awaited international festival and a not-to-be-missed appointment for fans of great music. For 14 editions it has been attracting the world's greatest artists, and this year features over 30 concerts announced to date, three months of non-stop live events, three stages and great surprises, from 13 June to 3 August.
A visionary festival, Rock in Roma stands out on the international music scene for its constant growth, inclusiveness and the perfect balance of its musical offerings, which range from Rock to Pop, from Heavy Metal to songwriting, from Dance to Rap and Indie.
The protagonists of Rock in Roma 2024 are the most successful international headliners, such as 21 Savage, Deep Purple, Placebo, Fontaines D.C., Loreena McKennitt; and Italian artists, including CCCP - Fedeli alla Linea, Tommaso Paradiso, Geolier, Gemitaiz, Salmo & Noyz, Club Dogo and many others.
Previous editions of Rock in Roma have hosted the biggest artists of the international music scene: The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Radiohead, Duran Duran, Måneskin, Post Malone, Arctic Monkeys, Cigarettes after Sex, Marilyn Manson, The Chemical Brothers, The Killers, Metallica, Slipknot, Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Queens of Stone Age, The Lumineers, Sigur Rós, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, to name but a few.
Among this year's most eagerly awaited events, in addition to Calcutta's already sold-out live show, Rock in Roma presents the only concert in Italy as headliner of 21 Savage, number one artist in the USA and one of the most eclectic and sought-after rappers on the global Urban scene.
The Ippodromo delle Capannelle - with the Black and Red Stages - and the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone are the prestigious venues ready to welcome the great live acts of the festival.

How to get around
From 13 June to 3 August, in addition to the regional trains to reach the Ippodromo delle Capannelle, special post-concert trains will be running to facilitate the return of music fans to the city centre at the end of the big events. Connections between the Ippodromo delle Capannelle and the city centre will be easier and quicker thanks to the highly efficient mobility plan and the collaboration between Rock in Roma and Eventi in Bus, the service that will provide shuttle buses at the end of concerts to accompany spectators back to the centre of Rome.
Rock in Roma is eco-friendly and cares about protecting the environment. Its eco-sustainable choices, in which passion for music and respect for the environment are inextricably linked, include the presence of ecological islands for separate waste collection, based on protocols for low environmental impact at concert venues.
