Contemporanea 2024-25, the season of the Musica per Roma Foundation, also continues for the year 2024-25, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.
The event, dedicated to contemporary music, includes several concerts, many of which feature the PMCE Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble, the group directed by Tonino Battista.
The formation of the Musica Contemporanea Ensemble has a variable structure, and ranges from solo concerts, up to the Large Ensemble and the Sinfonietta, in order to transmit the multiple richness of contemporary music without leaving out the repertoire of classics and ancient music. For the 2024-25 season, the program includes the performance of works by great masters of the past and new composers, such as the Newborn project with Roberto Negro, Michele Rabbia and the Ensemble Intercontemporain, and the new show by director and master puppeteer Mimmo Cuticchio based on Igor Stravinsky's Histoire du Soldat.2
