In order to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to grow and be more competitive on the market, and to meet the various liquidity requirements, the Lazio Region has intervened with a set of initiatives that significantly affect the measure of credit. According to a strategy agreed with Lazio Innova and credit institutions, four measures worth a total of approximately 135 million euro have been launched. More specifically:
The Fondo Patrimonializzazione PMI - SME Capitalisation Fund is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises with the objective of providing incentives for capitalisation by new or existing shareholders. Applications can be submitted from 5 December 2023 until the available resources are exhausted.
The Nuovo Fondo Futuro - New Future Fund aims to support micro start-ups. Applications can be submitted from 12 December 2023 to 23 January 2024.
The Fondo di Garanzia minibond Basket Bond Lazio - Basket Bond Lazio Minibond Guarantee Fund, with the objective of incentivising the issuance of bonds and/or debt securities (“Minibonds”) grouped in portfolios (“Baskets”) to foster the development of alternative and complementary forms of financing to bank credit. Expressions of interest may be submitted from 14 December 2023 and until the completion of the Portfolio. In order to make the issuance of minibonds more convenient also for smaller companies, a minibond issuance cost contribution has also been approved: applications can be submitted online through the GeCoWEB Plus platform on Lazio Innova’s website from 23 January 2024.
Nuovo Fondo Piccolo Credito - New Small Credit Fund, aimed at companies that have a financial history (at least 2 closed and deposited balance sheets), with good creditworthiness, that have limited financial requirements and do not generate sufficient margins for the banking system. Applications for investment support can be submitted at the counter: first window by January 2024; second window by March 2024.
