
The new talents of the international choreographic scene arrive on the stage of the Teatro Nazionale for three dance evenings as part of the 2023-2024 season of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
On stage, two extraordinary creations for the étoiles, the principal dancers, the soloists and the corps de ballet of the historical Capitoline theatre to music by various authors. Opening the program, with sets by Michele della Cioppa and lights by Alessandro Caso, is Yellow by Adriano Bolognino, born in Naples in 1995, winner of the Danza&Danza 2022 Award as an emerging choreographer, in his first experience with the dancers of the Rome Opera House.
Then, Simone Repele, from Turin, born in 1993, and Sasha Riva, born in 1991 in Fairfax County, Virginia and raised in Italy, present I died for love, with sets by Michele della Cioppa, costumes by Anna Biagiotti and lights by Alessandro Caso, returning to collaborate after last summer's success with Bernstein's Mass.
