The Palazzo delle Esposizioni hosts the exhibition project that tells the international vocation of the city through its bond with foreign academies and cultural institutes throughout history and in the present day.
Starting from the landscape representation, topos of the Gran Tour, Rome, a portrait reconstructs the influence this relationship had on the urban layout of Rome and restores its image through the gaze of foreign artists who have spent periods of residence there.
A rich program of readings, concerts, performances and meetings accompany the exhibition project, curated by Cecilia Canziani with Francesca Campana and Giulia Gaibisso, which aims to be the first in a series of annual events.
