Now in its 24th edition, LETTERATURE Festival Internazionale di Roma is a historic Roman event featuring the most important literary voices of recent years. The evenings of 8, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 16 July take place in the evocative setting of the Stadio Palatino, inside the Parco Archeologico del Colosseo. The final stage of the festival, on 19 July, is instead scheduled at the Idroscalo di Ostia in Piazza dei Piroscafi, in collaboration with the Puntasacra Film Fest.
The evening of Tuesday, 15 July is entrusted to the voices of Isabella Ragonese with Flannery O'Connor's La breve vita felice, Murata Sayaka with Zansetsu - The last snowfall, Éric Reinhardt with L'air de ces années-là - The air of those years, and Nicoletta Verna with Macerie.
The evening's musical contributions are provided by Mokadelic, a post-rock/psychedelic band active since the early 2000s, born of the encounter between the four original members Alessio Mecozzi, Cristian Marras, Alberto Broccatelli and Maurizio Mazzenga, who were later joined by Luca Novelli.
