The usual appointment with Roma Hortus Vini 2025 is renewed at the Botanical Garden of Rome, this year exceptionally in the evening, from 13 to 15 June.
The event, now in its sixth edition and organized by I Migliori Vini Italiani and Sens Eventi, is entirely dedicated to the native vines of our country, as well as wines produced from single-varietal varieties. There are over 200 labels available for tasting at the tasting tables, divided by region and vine variety; the program includes tastings, both free and guided, such as the dégustations sur l’herbe conducted by Luca Maroni in the meadow of Vigneto Italia, along with musical performances and short theatrical pieces in the moonlight, masterfully conducted and performed by the actor Michele La Ginestra – all open air – which act as an interlude to the wine tastings. The evening is also enlivened by suggestive musical incursions by Francigena in Jazz & Swing with The Swing Barriques. In the garden in front of the Vigneto Italia, a wine collection that brings together over 150 native vines from all the regions of Italy created in 2018 by Luca Maroni and Francesca Romana Maroni, you can experience the emotions aroused by the shows of Idà who, with her soap bubbles, makes the imagination of all participants fly.
