
Loads of surprises in the civic museums and archaeological areas of Roma Capitale with Pasqua nei Musei, the initiative that takes you on a discovery of the city's rich artistic and cultural heritage with special openings, guided tours, workshops and free educational activities, on the occasion of the Easter holidays.
This year's programme is enriched with events dedicated to Rome's Birthday (21 April), Earth Day (22 April) and the Jubilee with educational activities, guided tours in museums to visit temporary exhibitions and permanent collections, as well as workshops for children. All the activities are free of charge, with payment of the museum entrance fee and compulsory reservation at 060608. For those with the presence of expert guides who provide brief insights, participation is free of charge and without booking, subject to payment of the museum entrance fee.
Access to the Roma Capitale Museums and exhibitions is always free of charge for Roma MIC Card holders, except for the exhibitions Amano Corpus Animae and Roma pittrice. Origini e fortuna di una collezione, at the Musei Capitolini, Villa Caffarelli; Franco Fontana. Retrospective at the Ara Pacis Museum. For these exhibitions and for admission to the Circo Maximo Experience, the Anti-Aircraft Shelter and Bunker at Villa Torlonia and the shows at the Planetarium of Rome there is a reduced ticket with the Roma MIC Card.
You can also visit the archaeological areas of Rome such as the Parco Archeologico del Celio with the Museo della Forma Urbis, (entrances Viale del Parco del Celio 20/22 - Clivo di Scauro 4), the Area Sacra di Largo Argentina (via di San Nicola De' Cesarini in front of number 10), the Archaeological area of the Circus Maximus and the Imperial Forums (entrance from the Trajan Column).
