The fifth edition of Immagina – International Festival of Puppet Theatre of Rome is taking place in Rome, the festival spread across the theatres of the Teatri in Comune network – Teatro del Lido di Ostia, Teatro Villa Pamphilj, Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo – and at the Museo delle Civiltà and ICPI-Central Institute for the Intangible Heritage.
The event, sponsored by UNIMA - Italy International Union of Marionettes - includes four days entirely dedicated to Puppet Theatre in all its different expressions, with live shows, exhibitions, meetings, workshops, curiosities about the art of puppetry and animated figures. The event includes some of the most significant Puppet Theatre companies, for a festival dedicated to imagination and creativity, for adults and children.
