The Japan Days of the Japanese Market return to the Capannelle Hippodrome, offering this year, a Christmas Edition on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December, for a weekend dedicated to unconventional shopping, shows & showcases and workshops for all ages, talks, entertainment for adults and children, good food and guest ambassadors of Japanese culture in Italy.
As always, it is a real festival on Japanese culture and its thousand nuances - enriched this time by the magic of Christmas - which presents over 100 exhibitors from all over Italy, with a program that includes origami, shodou or the art of calligraphy, ikebana, bonsai or zen painting; shows, martial arts demonstrations, presentations, demonstrations and traditional shows such as the tea ceremony, Taiko drumming, kimono dressing will be present too, and, last but not least, book presentations. All the thousand nuances of Japan therefore, up to the colorful pop and hype of nerd and kawaii culture.
In the food and drink area you can instead embark on a journey through the cuisine of the Land of the Rising Sun: street food typical of matsuri (traditional Japanese festivals),ramen & onigiri, Japanese beers, sake shop with tasting and Konbini mini market. There is also a children's area, arcade game corner and entertainment. Finally, activities designed for everyone including Japanese fishing, vintage video game consoles, baby face painting and JPop and Kpop style entertainment.
