Rome Art Week 2024

This year also the appointment with the Rome Art Week 2024 is renewed, the artistic-cultural event dedicated to contemporary art, which presents to an audience of enthusiasts, collectors and scholars a review of the contemporary art proposal in Rome, through of hundreds of events in exhibition spaces, artists' open studios and free cultural projects; the event also aims to establish a network between exhibition structures, artists and curators.

The programme, as always rich and varied, allows the capital to also emerge in the contemporary art scene, going hand in hand with the other major European capitals and involving the centre and suburbs of the city with events and different activities.

During the event, the doors of galleries, foundations, museums, cultural bodies and associations, academies, Italian and foreign cultural institutes and independent research spaces are opened where exhibitions, events, conferences, meetings, performances, in-depth studies and extraordinary openings take place. In this context, artists organize open studios to welcome the public into their work space and make their artistic research known, while curators present their research with exhibition projects and cultural events in different spaces of the city. Finally, artist collectives foster a cultural climate to give life to new contemporary artistic currents.

We would also like to remind you that RAW organizes guided tours throughout the week, divided into zones or thematic areas, which take place on foot, in small groups, who are accompanied to the exhibition venues and the artists' studios.
