depuis 17 Juin 2024 à 30 Septembre 2024

A new thrilling season of concerts dedicated to all lovers of symphonic and chamber music. From 21 October until June 2025, a total of one hundred and four concerts will be offered by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, led by the new Music Director Daniel Harding, who will open the symphonic season with Tosca, one of Giacomo Puccini’s masterpieces, in the centenary of the Italian composer’s death.

The Maestro will also be the protagonist of six productions at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Verdi’s Messa da Requiem in the Basilica of San Paolo fuori le mura and two European tours that will touch cities such as Paris, Vienna, Hamburg and, for the first time in the history of the Roman institution, Katowice, Poland.

As always, the repertoire of programs will be vast, with exceptional guests, the most acclaimed soloists such as Martha Argerich, Beatrice Rana, Lisa Batiashvili, Daniil Trifonov, Viktoria Mullova and the most authoritative directors on the world music scene such as Kirill Petrenko, Gustavo Dudamel, Semyon Bychkov, Sir Antonio Pappano. The artist in residence Joshua Bell will be the protagonist of three concerts, two in the chamber season and one in the symphonic season – Dvořák’s Violin Concerto, which will also be proposed in the European tour in May with Daniel Harding.
