Ponte Giuseppe Mazzini

Ponte Giuseppe Mazzini, also known as the Mazzini Bridge, is a bridge connecting the Lungotevere dei Sangallo to the Lungotevere della Farnesina, in Rome, in the Regola and Trastevere districts.

Initially named Gianicolense, the bridge was designed by engineers Viani and Moretti and work on its construction began in 1904 and was completed in 1908. The bridge has three masonry arches, is 106.15 metres long and 17 metres wide and is decorated with bronze lanterns with rams‘ heads and ships’ rostrums.
