The Mercatino di Piazza Mazzini in its Christmas version. From 1 December to 6 January, the gardens designed by Raffaele de Vico, restored to their former glory following recent environmental and monumental redevelopment work, are decked out in sparkling lights, inviting scents and enveloping colors to welcome the now traditional Christmas Market, a regular and unmissable event in the heart of the Rione Prati.
Strolling among the typical wooden houses of the Market, arranged around the large, scenic fountain and surrounded by holm oaks, cypresses and hedges, is like entering a little fairy tale that recounts the emotions and magic of Christmas, an evocative place where you can rediscover the warmth of the festive season every day, meet up with friends and do some shopping.
The market is open every day: at the stalls, you can admire and purchase typical and artisanal products, nativity scenes, Christmas decorations, traditional sweets and gastronomic specialties, as well as many gift to place under the tree.
