As always, the Testaccio Classica 2025 festival - at the Testaccio School of Popular Music at ex Mattatoio - albeit within the context of a broad spectrum of concert music, presents pieces from diverse cultural traditions, while simultaneously evoking a broader sense of classicism.
The programs for this festival reflect a variety of criteria: juxtaposition of repertoire based on timbral similarities or stylistic contrasts, classical pieces alongside others less familiar to the general public, traditional music alongside pop, jazz, and contemporary compositions.
