Itinerant performances, concerts in ancient libraries and archives, experimental music in museums and historic shops in the city centre, art galleries and courtyards of historic buildings open to the public, workshops and open studios of artists and artisans, stand-up comedy in bars, poetry in ancient taverns, Romadiffusa 2025 - Festa dell'Ansa Barocca was created to renew the narrative of Rome, activating and networking the contemporary city and its dynamic and creative currents.
The fourth edition of the Festival returns to the historic centre with over 150 events, 60,000 visitors, more than 100 iconic locations involved and over 200 artists, musicians and creatives, for four days, round the clock, transforming the centre of Rome into a dynamic and creative playground: from concerts and performances in squares and alleys, from Piazza Navona to Piazza dell'Oro, to performances and public art, to secret parties in iconic locations, to workshops in artisan shops and open galleries.
The aim of Romadiffusa 2025 - Festa dell'Ansa Barocca is to strip Rome of its perception as a static and decadent “museum city”, showing its contemporary, dynamic and creative side.
The festival is only the latest and most visible manifestation of a “city branding” process that is being carried out on several fronts: on the one hand, mapping the territory and its creative and dynamic realities, and on the other, the effort to activate and network entrepreneurs and institutions, in order to systematise what already exists and build a bridge between the public and private sectors and between the various realities that often struggle to communicate within the complex fabric of Rome.
Roma Diffusa is a project organised by Bla Studio, with the patronage of Rome City Council I Centro.
The programme is subject to change.
