PE-PPE! Non sarà il solito giro

Colourful, inclusive and free: PE-PPE! Non sarà il solito giro is the new project by Roma Capitale that accompanies citizens on a journey by bus to discover the artistic, cultural and historical heritage of the Eternal City.

Available from July 2 to October 12, the initiative makes the beauty of Rome accessible to everybody, connecting the city's municipalities with cultural places  (museums, historical parks, and archaeological sites) and scheduled events such as cultural festivals, open-air film screenings and live shows.

Through five routes, a total of 75 routes in more than three months, each of the 15 Roman municipalities, promoters of the initiative in their respective territories, becomes the starting point for an extraordinary journey to discover Rome on board a welcoming and colourful bus, designed to accommodate up to 45 people per tour.

PE-PPE! Non sarà il solito giro is much more than a bus: it is an invitation and an opportunity to experience and explore Rome, with free access even to sites and events that usually charge a fee, especially for those who, for economic or logistical reasons, have never been able to enjoy the artistic and cultural treasures of the Capital.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, PE-PPE! opens the doors to extraordinary places and events: from exclusive guided tours of sites such as the Museo della Forma Urbis, the Museo di Roma - Palazzo Braschi, the Capitoline Museums, the Centrale Montemartini and the Ara Pacis Museum to themed walks in the splendid historic villas, Villa Borghese and Villa Torlonia, to evening visits in Via dei Fori Imperiali and 16th-century Rome, and access to Palazzo Esposizioni Roma.
Climbing aboard PE-PPE!, the summer lights up with the major Roman events: from the most evocative open-air cinema arenas - such as the screenings at the Casa del Cinema, the Roma Cinema Arena at the Parco degli Acquedotti, the Puntasacra Film Fest at the Idroscalo di Ostia - to the evenings of Letterature Festival Internazionale di Roma, from the shows of the Teatro Ostia Antica Festival to the two final evenings of the Premio Fabrizio De André in the Magliana district.

The initiative is available by contacting your local municipality. The bus is wheelchair-accessible upon prior notification to your municipality when booking.
