Charismatic, elegant and brilliant: the British artist arrives at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for an unmissable concert as part of Roma Summer Fest 2025.
The date in Rome on 28 July is one of the five legs that mark Morrissey's eagerly awaited return to Italy, since April on an international tour.
On stage, the iconic singer-songwriter presents legendary songs from his artistic history, such as This Charming Man, How Soon Is Now?, There Is A Light That Never Goes Out, Suedehead, Everyday Is Like Sunday, Irish Blood, English Heart, and First of the Gang to Die, that have accompanied the dreams and emotions of entire generations and left an indelible mark on pop music.
Morrissey achieved international fame in the early 1980s with The Smiths, the band that, releasing only four albums, created a new musical language. After the band's break-up in 1987, he launched his solo career in 1988 with the album Viva Hate, the first of a long series which confirmed his extraordinary singer talent with a profound, intense voice and as a great songwriter. He was awarded an Ivor Novello for his contribution to British music and a Social Vanguard Award (2024) for his commitment to the defence of animal rights.
