The Munedaiko group returns to the Filarmonica Romana for the second consecutive year, bringing all the rhythm and energy of traditional Japanese percussion in an exhilarating combination of dance and music together.
Munedaiko is a group - formed by Mugen Yahiro, Naomitsu Yahiro, Tokinari Yahiro - dedicated to the study, practice and valorization of the traditional Japanese drum "Taiko" which, through its vibrations, aims to deepen the harmony of the spirit in resonance with the mind and state of mind of the human being. The aim of the group, through this art, is therefore to make known the expressive power of the drums, thanks to which fragments of ancient Japan re-emerge. Officially recognized as a cultural collaborators by the Japanese embassy in Italy, the Munedaiko organize and perform in concerts throughout Italy and Europe, bringing in their extraordinary performances the music, theater and dance of this centuries-old Japanese tradition.
