
An evening of scenic and spectacular games to promote inclusion and integration between people with and without disabilities. Created in 2011 and inspired by the famous international television format “Jeux sans frontiers”, WEmbrace Games is a charity initiative conceived and organized by the art4sport Association, founded in 2009 by Paralympic foil champion Beatrice “Bebe” Vio Grandis together with her parents.
The theme chosen for the thirteenth edition is Space: at the Stadio dei Marmi 8 teams from all over Italy, made up of adults and children with and without disabilities, will face each other in 3 spectacular challenges under the banner of fun and inclusion. The role of team captains is entrusted to internationally renowned athletes and personalities from the world of entertainment, who get involved together with many other people to support the art4sport project. The evening will be hosted by two historical names from the kermesse and Radio Deejay, Giorgio Maria Daviddi and Furio Corsetti from Trio Medusa.
The event is sponsored by the Italian Paralympic Committee, CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee), Roma Capitale, Sport e Salute and the Italian Red Cross. It features a fundraiser in favor of art4sport, which supports and promotes sport as a therapy for the physical and psychological recovery of children and young people with prosthetic limbs, dedicating itself to the study, realization and financing of prostheses and equipment for Paralympic sports.
