
The iconic jazz musician arrives at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for an unmissable concert as part of Summertime 2025, the Casa del Jazz great festival scheduled from June 6 to August 9.
Herbie Hancock, performing on an international tour that includes five dates in Italy, takes the stage accompanied by his band of extraordinary musicians: Terence Blanchard on trumpet, Lionel Loueke on guitar, James Genus on bass and Jaylen Petinaud on drums.
Born in Chicago in 1940, the iconic pianist, keyboardist and composer is a legend of international music: he boasts an extraordinary artistic career, from his beginnings as a child piano prodigy with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to the album Takin' Off and collaborations with prestigious musicians, such as Miles Davies, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Chick Corea, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Annie Lennox, John Mayer, Christina Aguilera, Paul Simon, Carlos Santana, Tina Turner and Nora Jones.
Winner of numerous awards, including 14 Grammy® Awards and one Oscar, and a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Herbie Hancock has a unique style that masterfully blends jazz, funk, electronica and experimentation, constantly looking to the future and continuing to influence musicians of all generations.
