Rome hosts the two eagerly awaited summer concerts of the iconic Italian singer-songwriter, who, for the first time, performs in the extraordinary location of the Circus Maximus.
The artist is going on stage to meet his public after Ragazzi Madre - L'Iliade Il live - the sold-out concerts in Milan and Rome last October with which he retraced his ten-year career - and his participation as a competitor at the 75th Sanremo Festival with the moving ballad Incoscienti giovani.
Born in 1990, Achille Lauro, a stage name inspired by the famous ship-owner, was born in Verona and grew up in Rome, where he was introduced to the world of music, capturing the public's attention as an underground rap artist. The singer of versatile songs such as Fragole, C’est la vie, Me ne frego, Rolls Royce, Che sarà and Amore disperato - certified Platinum, he is an eclectic and innovative artist and one of the absolute protagonists of the music scene.
The event at Rome's Circus Maximus is organised by Friends & Partners and The Base, in collaboration with the Assessorato ai Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda di Roma Capitale.
