The Auditorium Parco della Musica hosts Angelo Branduardi with "The Canticle": Marking the 800th anniversary of the writing of the Canticle of the Creatures by Saint Francis of Assisi, the great Italian singer-songwriter's new tour begins. The tour draws inspiration from the religious and mystical figure of the "Poor of Assisi," as Branduardi himself describes it. This extraordinary musical event takes the audience on a musical and spiritual journey through the life and words of Saint Francis, a great saint of the Middle Ages, who represents light, poverty, joy, and poetry.
The "Canticle" thus represents an opportunity to relive the depth of Franciscan writings and draw inspiration from the contemporary themes that Saint Francis, even in his time, embodied with extraordinary modernity: poverty, ecology, love of life, and hospitality. For the occasion, Branduardi returns to the Auditorium stage with his full band. Along with Maestro Branduardi, great musicians such as Fabio Valdemarin on keyboards, Nicola Oliva on guitar, Stefano Olivato on bass, and Davide Ragazzoni on drums will take the stage.
An unmissable event, combining Branduardi's music with St. Francis' message of hope and universal love.
