One of the most eagerly awaited events on the Italian art scene returns for its fifth edition this year.
From 21 to 23 November 2025, Massimiliano Fuksas' La Nuvola will host a rich programme of exhibitions, talks, events and performances where artists, gallery owners, curators and art lovers can meet and exchange ideas at one of the autumn's major cultural events.
Over 140 exhibitors, with offerings ranging from modern to contemporary art, will provide the public with a comprehensive overview of the art scene, from historical avant-garde movements to the most recent artistic expressions, in which long-established galleries will be joined by new emerging realities, bearers of innovative languages.
The Assessorato alla Cultura di Roma Capitale and the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali (Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage) are participating in the fifth edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola with the exhibition Le acquisizioni della Galleria d'Arte Moderna dal 2012 ad oggi. Opere dalle collezioni della Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali (Acquisitions of the Gallery of Modern Art from 2012 to the present. Works from the collections of the Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage). Through a selection of works from the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Rome, the exhibition recounts the growth of the collection which, with acquisitions and donations in recent years, has been enriched with works by artists such as Marcello Avenali, Rolando Monti, Lamberto Pignotti, Guido Strazza, Emma Quilici Buzzacchi, Giuliana Caporali, Elisabetta Pasqualin Miresi and Elisa Montessori.
Among the special projects that enliven the fifth edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola are three exhibitions, one dedicated to Gino Marotta, Universo Naturale-Artificiale (in Nuvola), a tribute to Mario Airò with the exhibition Tra acqua e luce, while Fabrizio Clerici is the focus of the exhibition Ultra Memoriam.
The Republic of Korea is the guest country for this edition, with the exhibition Fever State, part of the Korea-Italy Cultural Exchange Year 2024-2025 project, established to celebrate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Italy.
Among the performances scheduled are Landfall, by Sonia Andresano, and Try, a performance by Marilisa Cosello representing a project on the mythology of the body and decontextualisation as a critical device.
Conceived and organised by Alessandro Nicosia, with artistic direction by Adriana Polveroni and promoted by EUR S.p.A., Roma Arte in Nuvola benefits from the active participation of the Ministry of Culture, Roma Capitale and the Lazio Region, as well as the patronage of the Vatican City's Department for Evangelisation. It is organised and produced by C.O.R. Creare Organizzare Realizzare con Costruire Cultura.
