Promoting the enjoyment of cultural and artistic heritage and facilitating travel on public transport. Created almost twenty years ago and promoted by Roma Capitale and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, in collaboration with ATAC and Cotral, the Roma Pass is Rome’s official tourist card, allowing visitors to discover, explore and experience the wonders of the city in 72 or 48 hours.
Until now, the card has only been available in physical form. However, since July, the Roma Pass has been revamped and transformed into a digital card capable of accommodating new services and itineraries, a truly multifunctional and multilingual platform that allows users to save money on tourist visits and access exclusive discounts. In addition to the public transport network and admission to all archaeological sites and museums, the Roma Pass also offers the opportunity to purchase tickets at promotional prices for events, concerts and shows, such as those produced by the Teatro dell’Opera and the Auditorium Parco della Musica, and for Roma and Lazio football matches. Numerous other agreements are still being finalised with the aim of enhancing and making the tourist experience in Rome increasingly modern, attractive and international.
