On Wednesday, 4 June at 11 a.m., meet along the Viale Parco dei Martiri di Forte Bravetta for a walk to the entrance of the Fortress, where the Parco dei Martiri di Forte Bravetta Itinerary will be inaugurated, a new stage of the “Unexpected Itineraries of Rome” project created to enhance and promote places, archaeological-historical sites and monuments that are not part of traditional tourist routes.
The itinerary, which is easy to walk, is about 1 kilometre long and can be easily reached by public transport (ATAC bus lines 98 - 786 - 889).
The Parco dei Martiri di Forte Bravetta is included in the larger area of the Riserva naturale della Valle dei Casali and the route inside it winds in a loop around the fortress and its appurtenances, skirting the old defensive moat.
The Parco dei Martiri di Forte Bravetta itinerary is all to experience and discover; in its places, memory intertwines with nature, offering moments of reflection far from the chaos of the city.
