The eagerly awaited annual event celebrating design and architecture in Rome is back: an unmissable opportunity to get to know, explore and discover the city, including places of art, archaeological sites and contemporary buildings, spaces for work, study and research, private homes, institutional buildings, churches and gardens.
Open House Roma, the most beautiful architecture festival in the Capital, celebrates its 13th edition with nine days and two weekends of free guided visits, tours, workshops, talks, meetings, exhibitions and performances, in over 200 sites from all eras, often closed to the public.
The absolute protagonists of Open House Roma 2025 are Rome's most iconic places, institutes, museums, historical buildings and cultural academies, but also sites of scientific and cultural interest and some unusual locations. Among them are the underground of the École française de Rome in Piazza Navona, the Staircase and Halls of Villa Medici, the Church of Santi Luca e Martina al Foro Romano, the D’ARC Foundation and the House-studio Luigi Serafini.
Open House Roma is part of the international network Open House Worldwide, a project born in London in 1992 from the idea of a group of architects and communicators oriented towards socio-cultural innovation, with the support of experts and professionals in the cultural heritage sector, such as PhDs, architects, cultural operators, artists and digital communicators.
