Sapore di mare - The Musical

The Teatro Olimpico hosts the exciting and original musical based on the unforgettable 1983 movie by the Vanzina brothers, in the production adapted by Enrico Vanzina and Fausto Brizzi.

To the rhythm of an evocative and irresistible soundtrack with the most iconic songs of Italian music - including Il cielo in una stanza, Una rotonda sul mare, Nessuno mi può giudicare, Nel blu, dipinto di blu, Quando quando quando, Non son degno di te - the show is about the stories of some young people and their families during the summer of 1964 against the backdrop of the beautiful Versilia: amidst games on the beach, flirtations, carefree laughter and bonfires under the starry sky, lives are intertwined and loves, friendships, promises and hopes are born, until the end of the summer, when only one promise will stand the test of time, proving that certain emotions and loves never end.

On stage, an extraordinary cast - such as Paolo Ruffini (Cecco the photographer), Fatima Trotta (Marina Pinardi), Edoardo Piacente and Lorenzo Tognocchi (Fratelli Carraro), Paky Vicenti (Paolo Pinardi), Luca Quarquioni (Gianni), Anna Foria (Selvaggia), Giulia Carra (Adriana Balestra) and Marta Melchiorre (Susan Hunt) - directed by Maurizio Colombi, with the splendid costumes, accessories, hairstyles and make-up by the Creative Atelier signed by Diego Dalla Palma, realising the look of each character in the show.
