A legendary drummer and engaging performer, De Piscopo accompanies the audience on a musical journey that ranges from the memorable nights of the great Jazz festivals to his thrilling solos, from the songs of the Blues stars, such as Charles Mingus, Elvin Jones and Duke Ellington, to the irresistible pop and Mediterranean sound of hits such as Andamento lento and Stop Bajon, and a touching tribute to his unforgettable friend Pino Daniele.

Born in 1946, Tullio De Piscopo boasts an extraordinary career studded with successes, sold-out concerts and awards, such as the distinction of the Accademia Medicea for his contribution to culture and art in 2017 and the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement in 2022. Over the years, he has collaborated with exceptional artists, including Ornella Vanoni, Enzo Jannacci, Adriano Celentano, Mina, Quincy Jones, Franco Battiato, Milva, Giorgio Gaber, Pino Daniele and tango maestro Astor Piazzolla, with whom he has worked with on 11 albums, including the evocative Libertango.
