International Women's Day 2023 - events and initiatives organized by Roma Capitale

Culture, environment, work, health, safety, sport, women's places, initiatives against gender-based violence: the #8MarzodiRoma calendar promoted by Roma Capitale for International Women's Rights Day is rich and articulated.

Over 60 events spanning the entire month of March to involve citizens in a broad reflection on the condition of women and the enhancement of female figures in every field of social, economic, and cultural life in Rome and the world. Theater performances, concerts, public readings, themed walks, and sporting events are scheduled.

The initiatives are organized by:
- Department of Security Policies, Productive Activities, and Equal Opportunities
- Equal Opportunities Commission
- Capitoline Superintendence
- Institution of Libraries of Rome
- Municipalities of Rome Capital

Many events are realized thanks to the collaboration of local associations and schools.
