A fairer, more hospitable, and supportive Rome that recovers and underlines the inclusive and welcoming vocation that it has always had. The Municipality is also working for the hospitality business by introducing a lump sum to compensate for the interchange fees associated with the residence tax from an electronic transaction. A quota that, in any case, cannot exceed 1.5% of the amount collected and paid to Roma Capitale.
The measure is part of the initiatives implemented to relaunch and support the tourism sector. Based on the quality of the offer, the system wants to encourage a strong return of presence in the Capital. In addition to answering operators, the resolution also strengthens the collection capacity of Roma Capitale and the fight against tax evasion because the contribution is only due to companies in good standing with the fulfillment of tax obligations.
